Texas College Democrats Colonias Service Grant
Texas College Democrats will be awarding four separate grants of $100 each, to four different TCD chapters, for an outstanding service event benefiting Colonias communities in South Texas.
We ask your chapter to get together with fellow Democrats, students, and community members to both raise money for and create care packages for families living in impoverished communities known as Colonias in South Texas. Items to include in care packages include non-perishable food items and toiletries.
TCD will actually MATCH the monetary donations raised, so allow this to be your incentive to raise even more money!
The four chapters that raise the most money and make the most care packages will be awarded grants.
